The EvominiX I from Italcoppie combines a PT100 probe with mineral insulation (MgO) and a programmable 4...20 mA transmitter in a molded IP67 housing with M12 output. It is an advantageous alternative to conventional assemblies with a connection head and separate transmitter.
The mineral insulation sheath protects the PT100 element and allows measurements from -50 to 500 °C, with good vibration resistance.
The probe and transmitter form a single compact device: faster installation, fewer points of failure, and a 4...20 mA signal that can be directly used.
The measurement range, signal sense and behavior in the event of a sensor failure are configured on a PC with the EVOMINI SET kit. The detection of a break and short circuit follows the NAMUR NE43 recommendation.
