PT100 FTRTTS probe: thermal resistance for high temperatures

The FTRTTS from Italcoppie combines a PT100 or PT1000 element in a metal tube with a glass-fibre insulated cable with metallic braiding. It extends the use of thermistors to 350 °C, with a conventional and economical construction.

Armored fiber-glass cable

Fiberglass insulation withstands high temperatures near heating resistors and furnaces, and the metallic braid protects the cable against abrasion and mechanical stress.

The precision of a thermoreistance

Compared to a thermocouple, the PT100 offers better accuracy and excellent stability in the 100 to 350 °C range, an asset for plastic processing or cooking processes.
