Thermocouple T for measuring the infusion temperature

The Italcoppie Thermofilter is a mineral-insulated type T thermocouple fitted in a portafilter basket supplied by the customer. It measures the water temperature in contact with the coffee, where extraction quality is decided.
Service technicians, roasters and manufacturers use it to check the thermal stability of a batch, adjust the boiler temperature or compare machines.
The Ø 1 mm T thermocouple in AISI 316, with insulated hot-melt welding, reacts quickly. It is connected to a thermometer or recorder via a miniature compensated connector.
The probe is attached to the basket by a sliding compression fitting made of 1/8 NPT stainless steel with a PTFE pressure seal, which allows the tip position to be adjusted.
